Literature Text

I want my words to be silky smooth,
to roll off your tongue like rogue waves,
affecting, eclipsing all within range.
They need  to move with lithe and grace,
to touch the minds' and hearts' of listeners,
to seduce them into my imaginary worlds
and true stories.

I want them to watch the words drip off my cherry lips,
as if waiting for a kiss. They want something commonly amiss,
that breaks the clichés and speaks to them in a
dozen languages [something that I hope I can give them].

With these words, I want to change the world.
I want to spread the plague of wisdom, to infect
the mind of every ignorant and innocent so
that we may all live, laugh, and love in unity.
Will you join me?
"You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one."

~John Lennon, "Imagine"

Question: Do you think that the work needs more rhyme, or a better rhythmn? If so, how should I change it?

I love the phrase "rogue waves" it just sounds so awesome, and I love the mental pictures
